Rising energy prices, a shortage of skilled workers, and the energy transition require a reconsideration and, in many cases, a realignement for the future. Epta has experienced significant growth over the past ten years and has subsequently hired numerous new employees.

"Innovation Reloaded. The Epta Sustainable System" – under this motto, the Epta Group presented its innovative refrigeration solutions at this year's Euroshop in Düsseldorf. The themes of energy efficiency, sustainability, and digitalization were visible and audible throughout the 1700 m² booth. "Restore your Future" was the slogan of the booth, highlighting Epta's commitment to supporting retailers with efficient and high-quality products and services in implementing ecological change.

In the "3 Green Facts," Epta demonstrated the concrete results of their continuous development in the areas of innovation and sustainability: In terms of energy efficiency, the complete system provider presented Tango Ultra/Valzer Perform, the first refrigeration unit in energy efficiency class A, setting a new standard in the industry. The new Xtreme Temperature Efficiency system, or XTE, which is currently pending patent, highlights Epta's innovation and its ability to look beyond its own expertise and seek cooperation with partners in other fields. Finally, The Unit showcases what a refrigeration unit of the future could look like, made from materials that are up to 95% recyclable and without refrigerants.

The interest of visitors in new refrigeration solutions was significant, and the EptaConcept area, which offers store design services by Epta, was also heavily visited. Some discussions here have already led to initial concrete projects.

Overall, Euroshop 2023 was a great success: 1830 exhibitors from 55 nations presented their innovations for the retail sector, and more than 81,000 trade visitors from all five continents flocked to Düsseldorf to see them.
