With a modern training center, Epta has laid the foundation for a new form of training and development for its employees. Spanning approximately 420 square meters, the facility features a CO2 transcritical refrigeration system, the Full Transcritical Efficiency System, and a heat recovery system, alongside a workshop, a food and beverage area equipped with grills, soft-serve ice cream machines, and slush devices from Taylor, as well as training rooms. In this space, technicians, installers, and employees from service, back-office, and sales operations in the refrigeration sector will be trained. Unique to the center is the 'Epta Supermarket,' which houses multiple refrigeration and freezer units as well as a cold room, all connected to a refrigeration system. Here, practical exercises will be conducted to train individuals on identifying and resolving issues with refrigeration units, refrigeration systems, and control technology.

At the official opening of the Epta Training Center on May 12, 2023, Bernd Haller, Managing Director of Epta Germany, explained the concept: 'With our training center, we aim to provide continuous training for all employees, qualify technicians without refrigeration certification as refrigeration technicians, and supplement the vocational training of our apprentices with the necessary skills and knowledge required for their daily work at Epta. Additionally, we want to offer opportunities for career changers to receive adequate further education.

Bernd Haller also emphasized the teamwork that enabled the Training Center to be set up by employees from all departments in less than a year. 'With Patrick Waßen as our new training manager, who will primarily focus on the technical apprentices, as we have set ourselves the goal of hiring 25 new apprentices every year,' announced Bernd Haller.

For the official opening, Epta invited all employees and their families to the Soldnerstraße location for live music, a barbecue, and a coffee station.
