Epta strengthens store construction expertise within the company

The transformation from a pure refrigeration equipment supplier and service provider to a planner, designer, and outfitter of retail spaces: Epta strengthens its Concept team and joins the German Store Construction Association. Customers now receive comprehensive concepts for their markets, stores, butcher shops, and sales areas.

Until now, Epta has primarily been active in refrigeration technology, refrigeration furniture, and after-sales service. However, the company has expanded its scope and increasingly advises retailers on the design of sales areas and spaces. The Epta Concept team plans, designs, and creates concepts where the sale of goods is central. This includes solutions such as shop-in-shop setups for the grocery retail sector, salad, fruit, sushi, and tapas bars, ripening cabinets, as well as special sales areas and butcher shops. Customers benefit from having a single point of contact who accompanies them from the beginning to the end of the project. To ensure smooth operation, the Epta Concept team has received reinforcement: a project manager coordinates suppliers and organizes the practical implementation of the project on-site to ensure everything runs smoothly.

MEMBER OF THE DLV

To underscore the expansion of its field of activity, Epta joined the German Store Construction Association (DLV) this year. With around 180 member companies, DLV is the leading representative organization of the industry in Germany. The association brings together producers, planners, general contractors, service providers, and stakeholders in the retail sector with the aim of securing the future of brick-and-mortar retail against online competition with innovative stores. Epta contributes to this effort with creative concepts for store design, innovative energy-efficient refrigeration technology, and refrigeration units that prioritize attractive product presentation.
