Continuous cooling is required to maintain the freshness and quality of food. Epta's refrigerated cabinets ensure high temperature safety. Should problems arise, our customers can rely on first-class technical support. If a refrigeration unit breaks down or there is a malfunction in the refrigeration system, a trained Epta service technician will be on site within a very short time to resolve the problem.

Once you have decided on an Epta product, you will benefit from extensive service – seven days a week, 24 hours a day. 

A central service center with qualified contacts as well as our own service technicians available nationwide ensure that you receive support as quickly as possible. The service technicians, divided into 14 service regions, each with a team leader, work paperless using tablet PCs.

Retrofitting refrigeration units

If you want to bring your refrigeration units up to the latest state of the art, you don't necessarily have to replace them with new ones. Epta-Service retrofits existing refrigeration cabinets to improve energy efficiency. In addition, it is also a simple way to comply with new legal regulations. At the same time, refrigeration cabinets can also be retrofitted for aesthetic reasons. 
 

Adapting to Environmental Regulations: EptaService Leads the Charge in Sustainable Refrigerant Solutions 

On request, EptaService also replaces synthetic refrigerants with those with lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). Because of the F-Gas Regulation, which is intended to drastically reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases in the industrial sector by 2030, the prices for refrigerants with a high GWP are rising and some manufacturers want to stop producing these refrigerants completely.

In the long term, it is worth using refrigeration systems with natural refrigerants such as CO2 or propane for new installations. These are not affected by the F-Gas Regulation and can therefore continue to be used after 2030. During the transition period, Epta will convert existing systems to the refrigerant R449A upon request.

Glass covers and doors can also be subsequently attached to the refrigerators. The same applies to energy-saving fans or efficient LED lighting. In this way, older, well-functioning refrigerators can be modernized and made more efficient without having to invest in a new device. 
 

Quick delivery of spare parts
 

A central spare parts warehouse and our own logistics center in Brühl near Cologne ensure that all customers are quickly supplied with spare parts. Numerous teams of technicians and contractual partners deliver, install and maintain systems throughout Germany. The most common spare parts are always available in the technicians’ vehicles. Additional spare parts can be identified using the refrigerator serial number and can be supplied quickly even years after the initial installation.
